February 14, 2012. For most, today is a time for love, happiness and all things pink and red.
But in our office, it’s time to get dumped!
The search has begun for the recipient of the “2012 half full Bucket Dump!”
Here’s the deal: for every contract signed with half full, FIVE hours of consultation, facilitation and execution time is added to the half full bucket. At the end of each calendar year, the bucket of hours is “dumped” and given to an individual, cause, organization or business in need of assistance in overcoming obstacles and moving forward strategically.
Here’s the call to action: the submission window is now open for this year’s search for a recipient. For anyone interested or aware of a candidate who would benefit from the donation of 90 half full strategic planning hours, it is a fairly simple process – tell the candidate’s story.
And this year, we’re spicing things up a bit – we’re looking for visual submissions!
Nomination Details & Criteria
1) The candidate’s story should be at least three minutes in length for a video, photo montage etc. and five pages in length for an e-book (we decided to ease up on you writers out there – but you must have photos in your written story!).
2) Submissions should include:
- Who is the candidate?
- What is your relationship with the candidate?
- Why should this candidate be considered?
- What obstacles has this candidate already overcome?
- What obstacle is the candidate currently facing?
- How can half full help?
- Would this candidate have the potential to “pay it forward” after working with half full? i.e., introduce social responsibility into the company, help someone else in need?
3) Formats accepted: links to video or files over 5MB, PowerPoint, Word/PDF
4) Submissions should be sent to info@half-full.com with subject “2012 Bucket Dump”
5) Submissions due by March 6, 2012
6) Winner will be announced on half full’s new Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/halffullonline
Please Note: Everyone is encouraged to apply – individuals, small companies, large companies, non profits, etc. No one is void of the potential to move forward. Only those with full contact details of both nominator and candidate will be considered. Names, addresses, email, phone numbers, etc. Anyone in current discussions with half full for service will not be considered. All submissions will remain confidential during the selection process. However, once a recipient has been chosen, half full will contact the chosen recipient about editing for public communication.
