Executive Forward: 3-Day Transformative Experience to Build on Strengths

PROVIDENCE, RI – June 13, 2025

In a rapidly evolving business landscape that continually thrusts new challenges and opportunities at executives, understanding and embracing one’s strengths has never been more paramount. It’s why half full, llc, is thrilled to announce its upcoming Executive Forward, “Testing Your Inner and Outer Strength as a Leader,” designed to bring together leaders across the globe to explore how building on personal and team strengths drives sustainable growth and innovation.

Taking place from October 2-5, 2025, at The Gant Resort, in Aspen, Colorado, the Forward will invite executives to engage in immersive activities and guided reflection to take time to pause, envision what’s next, and identify exactly how to move forward with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

“2025 has been marked by increasing complexity, but it’s also presented an opportunity for leaders to turn inward and elevate their superpowers and strengths more intentionally,” says Rebecca Twitchell, half full, llc, founder/President. “We’re so excited to dive into strengths-based leadership at our upcoming Forward and remind executives that when you lead from a place of authenticity and confidence in what you do best, you inspire your team to do the same — creating a culture of growth, trust, and innovation that moves your organization forward.”

The 4-day Forward will give participants a chance to:

  • Confront barriers and gain clarity on fears and obstacles standing in the way of success

  • Master key frameworks to navigate today’s toughest leadership challenges

  • Revitalize essential leadership skills that work best for unique leadership styles

  • Create a personalized step-by-step action plan to accelerate impact

  • Forge trusted relationships with fellow executives in a confidential environment

What’s more, attendees will have the chance to elevate their strengths through hands-on, interactive activities with retreat co-facilitators, like rock climbing with Aron Ralston and dining in the dark with Mark Valenziano

“Since our founding, we’ve always believed that an immersive experience ensures attendees can remember and actively recall what they set out to achieve,” says Twitchell. “Whether we’re engaging in vintage photo shoots, pink jeep tours, ziplining, or equestrian adventures, we bake into all our Forwards captivating activities that can bring you right back to the ahas and perspective shifts in the years to come.”

half full, llc, is particularly excited to team with Ralston and Valenziano — both of whom are authors, advisors and motivational speakers for companies and organizations all over the world.  Ralston’s incredible tale of survival, after being trapped by an 800-pound boulder in a remote Utah canyon, captivated the world in 2003. In his New York Times bestseller, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place,” the Oscar-nominated film “127 Hours,” and on stage, Ralston takes audiences on a journey through his desperation, perseverance, and the triumphant moment when he freed himself by making the unimaginable choice to amputate his own arm.

“I am excited to join Rebecca again for this transformational retreat,” says Ralston. “It’s a gift to be able to combine my passion for helping leaders to embrace and overcome the boulders in the way of their possibilities and my love for climbing. Together with Rebecca and Mark, I am confident  that each participant will walk away with a newfound respect for who they are and why they have been called to lead.”

Valenziano also helps audiences understand the power of grit and resilience, stemming from his personal experience of being told at 15 that he was going blind. Instead of giving in, Valenziano developed the mindset and tools that helped him build a successful career, from senior executive roles to founding his own companies. His signature program, Dining in the Dark, is a transformative sensory awareness experience that provides a compelling glimpse into what it’s like to be blind and invites audience members to expand beyond their comfort zones.

“In my own personal experience as a leader, I understand uncertainty and change. And I recognize the importance of having confidence in your own strengths to get you through the most challenging times.,” says Valenziano. “This Forward is perfectly constructed for leaders who want to move ahead strategically and authentically. I am looking forward to working with everyone to build on their strengths and embrace what lies ahead.”

Adds Twitchell, who was born with Symbrachydactyly Syndrome, “All of us share a similarity in terms of physical challenges we’ve had to overcome and, through it, the firsthand lessons we’ve cultivated when it comes to navigating change and adversity and leading from a place of authenticity and vulnerability. We are thrilled to partner together for this upcoming Forward and inspire others to build their own strengths-based leadership models that enable them to unlock their greatest potential.”
